Mission

The Foundation’s mission is to enhance the operational funding for the
library and to build an ongoing base of private funding through grants
and donations.  Our support complements, but does not supplant, the City’s responsibility for funding the Sadie Pope Dowdell Public Library’s operations. 

We accomplish our mission through fundraising, advocacy and innovative
programs that benefit our community and promote greater awareness
of the Library’s valuable resources. 

Your contributions enable us to increase library capabilities, resources
and services for South Amboy.
